Sober Living Homes
where you live after Rehab when meetings are not enough
Sober Living Homes are structured, drug-free group living environments for those transitioning out of addiction treatment and recovery centers. Sober Living Homes improve recovery outcomes, but they are not a replacement for therapy, addiction treatment centers or recovery programs. After Rehab, individuals need a continuum of care, and Sober Living Homes are a cost effective means of matching a level of service with a stair case of needs along recovery. "Sober houses", "halfway houses", "three quarter houses", "quarter houses", "supportive housing", "programmed housing" and "transitional housing", "therapeutic communities" are all broad and loosely used terms, so choosing the right living environment for you or a loved one can be challenging. SoberHood's goal is set higher standards and best practices while increasing the accessibility of Sober Living Homes to under severed and at risk populations.
Awareness Campaigns
Addiction is a chronic mental illness that is often misunderstood, enabled, and denied. Awareness is one of the most powerful tools to reduced the burden of addiction and improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
Building Community
Addicts in recovery need to build healthier, more supportive social bonds.

Robert A Bohls is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Trauma and Addictive Disorders Therapist with over 15 years of experience as a therapist.
Robert believes that many of life's problems stem from the un-explored parts of ourselves. These 'parts' are trying to find expression and the longer we ignore and repress them, the worse we think and feel about ourselves.
