Detox
Detox (detoxification) centers are acute care facilities that help addicts more safely withdrawal before entering a treatment or recovery program. When an addict stops the substance or behavior they have become physically and or psychologically dependent on, they can experience terrible withdrawal symptoms. In some cases, the withdrawal symptoms can be life treating.
