Crack Addiction
Crack is a more potent form of cocaine, a psychologically addictive stimulant extracted from the coca plant native to South America. A mixture of cocaine hydrocholoride, water, and ammonia or bicrabonate (baking soda) is boiled to create cocaine sulfate called crack rocks. These crack rocks are "free" of impurities; hence the term "freebasing". Crack cocaine is smoked and absorbed through the lungs causing an intense euphoric feeling.
